The geographical location of Gwadar has been acknowledged worldwide and now the development initiatives being taken including the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) have further strengthened its significance. Gone are the days when Gwadar was regarded just as a town of fishermen; it is now more than that – the emerging economic hub of the region with many other perks which are yet to be unmasked.

Sources in the aviation industry claim that Serene Airline has been granted the legal permission by the air travel authority to start its private airline in Pakistan. According to its plan submitted to the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), the management has decided to launch its operations starting with domestic routes, by November or December this year, depending upon their implementation of the desired services.
Gwadar Port is one of the largest sea ports in the world, strategically located between three important regions: the Middle East, heavily populated South Asia and the economically emerging and resource-laden region of Central Asia. However, paving ways to new beginnings and prosperity, first Chinese ship arrived at Gwadar Port on Sunday.
