With an investment of $3.5 billion funded by the Saudi Ministry of Finance, Abraj Kudai Hotel poses itself as a striking landmark with the design inspired by Islamic architecture and modern delineation. Designed by the London-based Areen Hospitality Group and Dar Al-Handasah, the hotel is expected to be one of a kind. It will be situated two kilometers from the world’s largest mosque, the Masjid al-Haram, which attracts around five million Muslims each year as they embark on the Holy pilgrimage. The hotel rates are expected to be at the higher end mainly catering to wealthy and royal families and customers.
